Anybody fancy a game of Table Tennis?
Due to the current weather conditions it is difficult to get out and play tennis, so why not try some table tennis instead??
It is proposed that the PE Department will run a club on a Monday lunchtime from 1:00-1:40.
If anyone is interested then please come and see Mr Durkin in the PE Department.
To get you in the mood here is an amazing clip of an outragous table tennis rally from two of the best players in the world. (just click on the link below)
Hi everyone, I have updated all of your class pages with the new activities that you will be doing next term.
Well done this term as it’s been really busy with the Social Dancing as well as the activities that we started with.
Have a good Christmas break!!!
Any Ideas?
This blog has been set up primarily so I can keep in contact with my classes even when I’m not teaching. It also gives me a chance to hand out your homework in a ‘green’ way (saves me getting a row for printing off too much paper!). Eventually, once I’ve learned properly I will start to produce podcasts to help with your revision and any homework. These will be able to be downloaded into iTunes and even onto your iPods, ‘education on the move’!!
I have created a page for all my classes (apart from core PE, although this could be changed if you want it) and therefore I can communicate with you and you can communicate with me outside of class time.
Post a comment below and let me know what you think of the blog and also whether you want anything else on it.

Well done to the 1st year Basketball Stars!!
Published September 28, 2009 Uncategorized Leave a CommentOn Saturday 26th September, 11 1st year boys headed off to Millburn Academy for a Basketball festival. Many teams turned up including Culloden, Millburn, Fortrose, IRA and Nairn.
The boys played 5 games in 2 seperate round robin events before there were play offs to determine their final position. Both the Nairn teams played brilliantly well and the boys had a really enjoyable day.
The Nairn B team managed to get to a 3rd/4th place play-off and when the score was tied at 6-6 when the buzzer sounded, it was decided that sudden death basketball should determine the winner. The teams played for another couple of minutes beforethe Culloden B team eventually made a basket that ended the game. It was a very tense match and all players involved were shattered at the end!!
